You’re a parent, and that means you only want the best for your child. Not just with things like learning and development, friendships, opportunities and happiness, but with health, too. At Firelands Regional Medical Center, our mission is to provide the most comprehensive quality healthcare to children from infancy through adolescence.
Our approach to the care of infants, children and adolescents begins with understanding their different physical, emotional, social and developmental needs. Recognizing that the family is central in a child's life and care plan, our healthcare team advocates a parent-professional partnership in planning and providing care.
Our pediatric staff is specially trained and experienced in the care of children and maintains that knowledge and competency in current practices through ongoing continuing education. Additionally, our pediatric nurses are certified in pediatric advanced life support.
