2014-2015 FAFSA Available Online
If you wish to receive financial aid for the 2014-2015 academic year, you must complete the FAFSA online. You can complete the application any time after Jan. 1, 2014, but we recommend you wait until after your 2013 taxes have been completed so you can take advantage of the IRS tax Retrieval Tool that will automatically fill in your income information. Since the 2014 summer semester is part of the 2014-2015 award year, try to complete your FAFSA before March 1 so your financial aid will be available in May at the start of the semester. Note: You must complete the FAFSA each year to continue to receive any federal student aid funds including grants and student loans.
Our school code is 003114.
1098 T Tax Statements will be mailed by January 31, 2014
The 1098-T statement contains information about your enrollment, scholarships and tuition charges for 2013. The Registrar/Bursar will distribute these forms prior to January 31, 2014. You or your parents can use the information on the 1098 T form to determine if you qualify for the higher education deductions or credits when preparing your 2013 tax return. So, be sure to save this information, or give it to the person who claims you on their tax return (if you don't claim yourself). Click here for more information about the education tax credits or tax deductions that are available.
