Dialysis Center
Whether you have been undergoing dialysis for some time or you are new to the procedure, Firelands Regional Medical Center will ease your fears and concerns with a special level of caring combined with leading edge technology.

Under the direction of a Board Certified nephrologist, our highly trained staff including RNs, LPNs, certified dialysis technicians and equipment technicians are committed to meeting our patients' needs by offering the latest in hemodialysis science.

An inter-disciplinary team of experienced dialysis nurses, a dietitian, social worker and board certified nephrologists administer individualized care. All departments work together to provide support for patients, families and caregivers, even assisting with transportation and insurance issues as needed.

Dialysis services are readily available for hospitalized patients in both the acute care setting and the physical medicine and rehabilitation program. The center is also equipped to treat patients in need of isolation, and can accommodate patients traveling through the Sandusky area.

The dialysis center's hours of operation are:
Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. and
Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
