For optimal communications with patients, and in compliance with state law, Firelands Regional Medical Center is providing this list of our charges for room and board, emergency department, operating room, physical therapy and other procedures. The hospital's charges are the same for all patients, but a patient's responsibility may vary, depending on payment plans negotiated with individual health insurers. Uninsured or underinsured patients should consult with our Financial Counseling staff at 419-557-7879 to determine whether they qualify for discounts. These prices are correct as of January 2010.

There are four different types of surgery available at Firelands Regional Medical Center: outpatient, ambulatory, same day and inpatient. Your physician will decide which surgery is appropriate for you.
Laser Services
The Surgical Center also offers Laser Services. Our surgeons are skilled in the use of three types of lasers: carbon dioxide laser; argon laser and the YAG laser. Lasers are used in eye, euro-logical, gynecological and vascular surgeries. Your physician will determine if you are an appropriate candidate for laser surgery.
Pre-Surgery Testing
Many of our patients take advantage of Pre-Surgery Testing, a service that allows patients to complete their preliminary lab work, x-rays and other diagnostic testing on an outpatient basis. Pre-surgical testing eliminates the need for you to be admitted to the hospital for tests prior to your surgery or procedure.

Firelands Main Campus offers individualized surgical care to patients who are in need of skilled clinical intervention.
Vascular Services
Dedicated to optimizing the vascular health of their patients and dedicated exclusively to the practice of Vascular Surgery, the Vascular Surgeons at Firelands Regional Medical Center have over 45 years of combined experience in vascular surgery, offering a full breadth of minimally invasive and surgical treatments.

Firelands Regional Medical Center Surgery Center at 2800 Hayes Avenue provides a satellite facility designed to provide patients with an option for less complicated same day surgeries.
