For optimal communications with patients, and in compliance with state law, Firelands Regional Medical Center is providing this list of our charges for room and board, emergency department, operating room, physical therapy and other procedures. The hospital's charges are the same for all patients, but a patient's responsibility may vary, depending on payment plans negotiated with individual health insurers. Uninsured or underinsured patients should consult with our Financial Counseling staff at 419-557-7879 to determine whether they qualify for discounts. These prices are correct as of January 2010.

Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy is a skilled healthcare profession that enables people to live their lives as independently as possible. Occupational therapists are skilled at analyzing activities and creating the ideal person-environment-task fit to enable independence.
The Firelands Occupational Rehabilitation Program is dedicated to providing an efficient and comprehensive program that meets the injured worker's individual needs and enables the injured worker to return to employment within their physical, mental, vocational and psychological abilities.
We offer occupational therapy services in the inpatient setting for acute care, physical rehabilitation and psychiatric clients. Outpatient programs include pediatrics, hand therapy, chronic pain, neurological and return to work. In the industrial setting with onsite rehabilitation, programs include (but are not limited to) job analysis, ergonomics and body mechanics education.
