what we do : Maternity/Pediatrics
Pediatrics
Our mission is to provide the most comprehensive, quality care available to all children from infancy through adolescence.

Our approach to the care of infants, children and adolescents begins with understanding their different physical, emotional, social and developmental needs. Recognizing that the family is central in a child's life and care plan, our health care team advocates a parent - professional partnership in planning and providing care.

Our pediatric staff is specially trained and experienced in the care of children and they maintain that knowledge and competency in current practices through ongoing continuing education. Additionally, our pediatric nurses are certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

The following pediatric services are available to our community and surrounding areas:

Classes
Infant and Child CPR - Designed for anyone charged with the care of infants and children. This course demonstrates the techniques of infant and child CPR and managing a blocked airway for both infants and children. The course includes a booklet with indoor and outdoor safety tips and an emphasis on accident prevention.

Babysitting - Young adults, age 11 years or older, will learn important safety information and responsibility guidelines when caring for younger children. This course includes a booklet and a certificate of attendance will be awarded to those who complete the class.
