For optimal communications with patients, and in compliance with state law, Firelands Regional Medical Center is providing this list of our charges for room and board, emergency department, operating room, physical therapy and other procedures. The hospital's charges are the same for all patients, but a patient's responsibility may vary, depending on payment plans negotiated with individual health insurers. Uninsured or underinsured patients should consult with our Financial Counseling staff at 419-557-7879 to determine whether they qualify for discounts. These prices are correct as of January 2010.

Inpatient Pharmacy
Firelands Regional Medical Center's Inpatient Pharmacy provides contemporary dispensing services coupled with collaborative and consultative clinical services throughout the facility. Decentralized pharmacy services are designed to cover designated units such as the critical care areas, internal medicine, ambulatory clinics, hematology/oncology, outpatient services, and other areas as needed.
Pharmacy personnel facilitate medication review and delivery with advanced technologies to support these processes. The provision of drug information and consultations are available from the pharmacy 24/7 upon request from our medical or nursing staff. Our pharmacists actively participate in multidisciplinary rounds and various quality improvement and patient safety committees throughout the facility on a regular basis.
