Improving Health ConditionsThe Firelands Healthy Lifestyles Exercise Program is ideal for patients looking to improve specific health conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol or individuals who are under the regular care of a physician who would benefit by exercising regularly and learning about the health aspects of their particular medical condition.Program FeaturesAt the start of the program participation, individuals will consult with a professional and be provided with an individualized treatment plan which includes recommendations for an exercise and wellness program which addresses the individual's specific needs.The Firelands Health Lifestyles Exercise Program not only focuses on developing exercise regimes appropriate for the individual, but also teaches participants proper use of exercise equipment in the facility, as well as how to monitor their own blood pressure, heart rate, and more.Progress through the program is self-monitored with the assistance of staff for guidance.
