For optimal communications with patients, and in compliance with state law, Firelands Regional Medical Center is providing this list of our charges for room and board, emergency department, operating room, physical therapy and other procedures. The hospital's charges are the same for all patients, but a patient's responsibility may vary, depending on payment plans negotiated with individual health insurers. Uninsured or underinsured patients should consult with our Financial Counseling staff at 419-557-7879 to determine whether they qualify for discounts. These prices are correct as of January 2010.

Prayer & Meditation:
The meditation room is located on the 2nd floor and is open 24 hours a day to patients, staff and visitors. You are welcome to use the room for private meditation and prayer.
Gift Shop:
Located near the front lobby, the Firelands Regional Medical Center Gift Shop is operated and managed by the Firelands Regional Medical Center Auxiliary. A variety of toiletries, stationary, jewelry, magazines and seasonal specials are offered. Newspapers are available in coin-operated machines located by the visitor's elevators on the first floor. Gift Shop hours are posted on the door.

If necessary other arrangements for pediatric visits can be made for times other than those listed above. Sibling visits by children under age 13 are permitted by prior arrangement only.
Psychiatric:
2:00 pm - 3:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm
No children under 14 years of age without prior permission.
Critical Care/Coronary Care:
Visiting times are flexible to meet the needs of the patient and family allowing us to work together to individualize the times.
However, we ask that you follow certain guidelines when visiting patients:
Check at the nurse station first
Immediate family only
Two visitors at one time
Keep visits brief (10 - 15 minutes)
Do not wake sleeping patient
Visitors must be a minimum of 14 years of age.
(Special consideration may be given to younger children. Please contact the Charge Nurses to arrange)
