For optimal communications with patients, and in compliance with state law, Firelands Regional Medical Center is providing this list of our charges for room and board, emergency department, operating room, physical therapy and other procedures. The hospital's charges are the same for all patients, but a patient's responsibility may vary, depending on payment plans negotiated with individual health insurers. Uninsured or underinsured patients should consult with our Financial Counseling staff at 419-557-7879 to determine whether they qualify for discounts. These prices are correct as of January 2010.

Brief visits by you are important to the recovery of your friend or family member and are generally encouraged by physicians.
Physical Rehabilitation: Only during non-therapy time, unless otherwise arranged.
Arrangements of Family Instructional Conferences and visits at times other than those listed should be made through the Rehabilitation Social Worker.

The Firelands South Campus Chapel, an interfaith area located on the 3rd floor, is open 24 hours a day to patients, staff, and visitors. You are welcome to use the room for private meditation and prayer at any time. Reading material is also available.
Gift Shop:
Located near the front lobby, the Firelands Regional Medical Center Gift Shop is operated and managed by the Firelands Regional Medical Center Auxiliary. A variety of toiletries, stationery, jewelry, magazines, and seasonal specials are offered. Newspapers are available in coin-operated machines located by the visitor’s elevators on the first floor. Gift shop hours are posted on the door of the gift shop.

Patients may receive calls from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm, on the hospital-provided room phone, but may place outgoing calls at any time.
