Firelands Counseling & Recovery Services Recognized for Vocational Services Customer Satisfaction

March 31, 2017 – Sandusky, Ohio -- Firelands Regional Medical Center Counseling & Recovery Services received a Certificate of Excellence for best practices in vocational services from mhca, leaders in community health solutions. Formerly known as Mental Health Corporations of America, mhca recognized Firelands for achieving the highest level of client satisfaction in the provision of vocational services as part of its delivery of behavioral health services.

Firelands Regional Medical Center Counseling & Recovery Services achieved the highest overall customer satisfaction score of all participating organizations in the vocational services category.

“Firelands Regional Medical Center is dedicated to providing an exceptional patient experience for all patients, including those seeking help for addiction or mental health issues” said Marsha Mruk, MPA, FACHE, vice president of Firelands Counseling & Recovery Services. “We are pleased to be recognized for our dedication and achievements in patient satisfaction, and I am very proud of our team.”

Recipients were chosen based on aggregated data collected from behavioral health providers across the country, which is used to identify trends and recognize providers attaining exceptional outcomes. The recipients of the 2016 Certificates of Excellence were announced during mhca’s Winter Conference.

“Your staff, board of directors, and all those who support Firelands in your community should take pride in this accomplishment,” said Dale Shreve, president and CEO of mhca.
