Firelands Regional Medical Center School of Nursing, Ranked as 10th Top RN Program in Ohio, to Host Open House


March 17, 2017 – Sandusky, Ohio -- The Firelands Regional Medical Center School of Nursing in Sandusky, Ohio will be hosting an Open House on March 26 from 1 to 4 p.m. The event will take place on the fourth floor of Firelands Regional Medical Center South Campus, 1912 Hayes Avenue, Sandusky.

Attendees will be able to tour the school, learn about the nursing program and enrollment process for the fall 2017 semester, and meet with members of the staff.

Students who choose to enroll in the Firelands School of Nursing can feel confident they are enrolling in one of the top nursing programs in the state of Ohio. The Firelands School of Nursing was recently ranked as the tenth best state-approved, accredited program in Ohio based on first time test taker pass rates of the NCLEX-RN exam. The ranking was awarded by RegisteredNursing.org.

Students have the ability to earn an Associate of Technical Study degree through BGSU Firelands, as well as a three-year Nursing Diploma from the Firelands School of Nursing. The curriculum includes both BGSU Firelands courses and Firelands Regional Medical Center School of Nursing courses.

The plan to become a University of Toledo College of Nursing location at Firelands Regional Medical Center for the fall 2017 semester has been canceled, and the Firelands School of Nursing is now accepting student applications for the fall 2017 semester.
