Linda Rudolph Announced as April Beacon of Light Award Winner
April 10, 2017 – Sandusky, Ohio -- Firelands Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce that Linda Rudolph, LPN, IV-GC, has been selected as the April Beacon of Light Award winner. Linda has been a nurse for 43 years, and has been working in the Rehabilitation department since 1990.
The Firelands Beacon of Light is a monthly award given to team members who exemplify and exhibit the values of Firelands Regional Medical Center in the areas of service, integrity, respect, unity and stewardship along with their commitment as a member of our community.
Linda’s nomination touched on these values. “Linda always helps younger co-workers with any problems. She has worked in Rehab for many years and is a wealth of knowledge with our patients. She always has a positive attitude, and never complains about her assignment.”
“Linda is a preceptor for new employees and students and takes a busy day in stride. She teaches as she goes from patient-to-patient. New employees and students can ask her for help with any procedures at any time.”
“When our census remained high, Linda volunteered to pick up her hours. With over 40 years as a nurse, she always has the enthusiasm to make our patients comfortable and she is attentive to their needs.”
