(April 21, 2017 – Sandusky, Ohio) Firelands Regional Medical Center’s Captain of Safety and Security, Ralph Mominee Jr., CHSS, CHPA, has recently earned certification as a Healthcare Protection Administrator.
Awarded through the International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS), a Certified Healthcare Protection Administrator (CHPA) is the highest professional certification available in healthcare security. There are approximately 450 CHPA professionals practicing today.
The Certified Healthcare Protection Administrator designation is available to management level healthcare security professionals who meet the qualifying criteria. Once approved, each candidate has twelve months to successfully pass the CHPA certification exam.
