Awarded through the International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS), a Certified Healthcare Protection Administrator (CHPA) is the highest professional certification available in healthcare security. There are approximately 450 CHPA professionals practicing today.

The Certified Healthcare Protection Administrator designation is available to management level healthcare security professionals who meet the qualifying criteria. Once approved, each candidate has twelve months to successfully pass the CHPA certification exam.

As Captain of Safety and Security at Firelands, this certification will allow Mominee Jr. to lead the process of certifying the entire security department through IAHSS.
