Jodi Ohm Selected as the July Beacon of Light at Firelands
(July 24, 2018 – Sandusky, Ohio) Firelands Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce that Jodi Ohm, LPC, has been selected as the July Beacon of Light Award winner. Jodi has been employed at Firelands for the past ten years.
The Firelands Beacon of Light is a program developed to recognize team members who exemplify and exhibit the values of Firelands Regional Medical Center in the form of exceptional Attitude, Commitment and Enthusiasm (ACE). The award goes to individuals who ACE it every day for patients and coworkers.
Jodi’s nomination reflected this dedication. “Jodi exhibits a chronically positive attitude in everything that she does, both in her work with clients as well as her interactions with her coworkers and other service providers.”
“She is the pinnacle example of what a team player looks like, more often than not volunteering for whatever needs to be done or seeking out opportunities to help. She is a great role model for younger clinicians, and is well-respected both within and outside our agency.”
“Jodi works with our youth population in Behavioral Health, which can be very challenging at times. She has great outcomes with challenging cases and engages well with the clients and parents alike.”
Outside of work, Jodi thoroughly enjoys living the lakeside lifestyle, spending her time on the beach, boating and at the islands. She resides in Huron with her husband Tracey, daughters Ashlyn and Kelsey, and son, Collin.
