Matthew Moss Selected as the April Beacon of Light at Firelands Regional Medical Center

Firelands Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce that Matthew Moss, Matthew MossHRIS administrator at Firelands Regional Medical Center, has been selected as the April Beacon of Light Award winner.

The Firelands Beacon of Light is a program developed to recognize team members who exemplify and exhibit the values of Firelands Regional Medical Center in the form of exceptional Attitude, Commitment and Enthusiasm (ACE). The award goes to individuals who ACE it every day for patients and coworkers.

Moss’ nomination exemplifies this dedication. His loyalty to Firelands and his country as an Air Force Veteran is truly commendable.  He is always committed to finding a solution to a problem, and helping to implement that process effectively.  He is an “out of the box” thinker which has allowed the human resources department and the organization to move forward with new technology and more efficient ways of working.

The entire Human Resources department agreed that Moss deserves the Beacon of Light because he is a fair, and honest person with a genuine passion to help anyone. He strives daily to help make Firelands Regional Medical Center a great place to work.

Outside of work, Moss is a dedicated father to his two young children and is currently involved in building a new house.
