Firelands Regional Health System Providers Receive American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology Certification

(January 24, 2020 – Sandusky, Ohio) Firelands Regional Health System is pleased to announce three of their practicing physicians have received Certification from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. These physicians are:

• Stephen Schuldt MD, psychiatry
• Abdelrahman Abdelaziz MD, psychiatry
• Adeyemi Marcus MD, psychiatry

Achieving Board Certification is a rigorous process designed to ensure those that pass deliver the highest quality care. Board certification demonstrates to the public that physicians have met the highest standards of medicine and its subspecialties. Board certification is voluntary and includes an exam that tests a physician’s ability to diagnose and treat patients with a broad range of conditions.

These physicians provide psychiatric care as part of an interdisciplinary team at Firelands Reginal Medical Center’s Counseling & Recovery Services Program.  These services include both inpatient and outpatient services spanning seven counties.
