Dennis Kopco Selected as the August Beacon of Light at Firelands
(Sandusky, Ohio) Firelands Health is pleased to announce that Dennis Kopco, director of financial services at Firelands, was selected as the August Beacon of Light Award winner.
The Firelands Beacon of Light is a program developed to recognize team members who exemplify and exhibit the values of Firelands Health in the form of exceptional attitude, commitment and enthusiasm (ACE). The award goes to individuals who ACE it every day for patients and coworkers.
Dennis’s nomination exemplifies this dedication. “Dennis is one of those folks that remain in the background, diligently going about all needed functions that keep us financially afloat, not seeking the spotlight. When called upon, he always is willing to offer his expertise and insight to help solve problems,” the nomination read. “Dennis has the utmost respect of his staff, his peers, senior leadership and the board of directors. His calm demeanor has served our organization well over the years.”
Outside of work, Dennis is an avid Ohio State, Cleveland Indians, and Cleveland Browns fan. His love of exercise keeps him busy walking outside or working out at Planet Fitness. Dennis resides in Amherst with his wife of 34 years, Sue.
