Firelands Health welcomes new CFO

(Sandusky, Ohio) President and Chief Executive Officer Jeremy Normington-Slay, and Fireland Health’s Board of Directors, are pleased to welcome Kevin Riley, CPA, MBA, FHFMA, as chief financial officer of Firelands Health. Mr. Riley will join Firelands Health effective Nov. 28.

Mr. Riley has over 30 years of healthcare finance experience. He previously served in management positions for national accounting and consulting firms KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers; as vice president of finance for Mercy Health in Cincinnati, Ohio; CFO for St. Luke’s Hospital in Maumee, Ohio; and most recently as principal for Health Management Associates, a national healthcare consulting firm based in Lansing, Michigan.

Mr. Riley earned his Master’s of Business Administration from Xavier University and a bachelor’s degree from St. Joseph University. In addition, Mr. Riley is a certified public accountant, a fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and holds several other certifications from HFMA. Mr. Riley is married to his wife Linda of 25 years and they have two children ages 20 and 15.
