Firelands Foundation welcomes Jody Mast

(Sandusky, Ohio) Firelands Health welcomes Jody Mast as the development officer for The Foundation for Firelands.

Jody has extensive fundraising experience through her volunteerism over the years serving in the community. She is a past president, and the current vice president, of Huron City Schools Board of Education, and has volunteered with the Firelands Regional Medical Center Auxiliary for seven years. Jody is excited about creating new partnerships within the community to help improve the lives of Firelands’ patients. She is especially excited to share the unique ways that The Foundation for Firelands impacts the lives of your friends, family, and loved ones who may be battling cancer or other serious health diagnosis.

“Through our fundraising events at The Foundation for Firelands we have the ability and resources to lessen the stress of the growing bills a patient may attain when they are too ill to work,” Jody said. She expressed her compassion for those who may need support from The Foundation for Firelands. “I’m excited to get a message of hope out to people when cancer or other unexpected diagnoses disrupt their lives.”

Jody is married to Eric Mast, D.O., of Firelands Physician Group, and they have three adult children. Jody enjoys preparing gourmet meals, boating, exercise, and loves a good book.
