Firelands Physician Group welcomes cardiologists
(Sandusky, Ohio) Linda Njoroge, M.D., FACC and George Augustine Koromia, M.D., recently joined Firelands Physician Group and opened a cardiology office, working in tandem with the cardiologists at U.H. North Ohio Heart, Inc.

Dr. Njoroge is a cardiologist specializing in cardiovascular disease with a focus in advanced heart failure. She earned her doctor of medicine at the University of Nairobi in Nairobi, Kenya, and completed an internal medicine residency at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. Dr. Njoroge completed fellowship training in cardiovascular disease at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia, and has also completed subspecialty training in advanced heart failure and cardiac transplantation at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, and at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky. She is board-certified in cardiology, echocardiography and nuclear cardiology.
Dr. Koromia is a clinical cardiologist. He earned his doctor of medicine at the University of Nairobi in Nairobi, Kenya, and completed an internal medicine residency at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. Dr. Koromia was the chief resident in internal medicine at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. He is fellowship-trained at the highest level for advanced cardiac imaging from the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky. He completed a cardiovascular disease fellowship at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. He is board-eligible in cardiology and board-certified in internal medicine and clinical informatics. Dr. Koromia is also board-certified in echocardiography and nuclear cardiology.
Dr. Njoroge and Dr. Koromia provide in-office procedures such as EKGs, short- and long-term cardiac monitoring, interrogation of implantable cardiac devices and performing point-of-care echocardiograms. Dr. Njoroge is accepting new patients and a referral is not required. Dr. Koromia will begin seeing patients November 2023. Their office is located at 703 Tyler St., Suite 252, Sandusky.
