Firelands Regional Medical Center Recognized as a Great Community Hospital

Becker's Hospital Review recently announced that Firelands Regional Medical Center is on its 2025 “Great community hospitals” list. Becker's Healthcare developed this list based on nominations and editorial research of community hospitals. Criteria includes hospitals that stand out for delivering expert care, strengthening local economies and driving innovation, even with limited resources. Many have earned recognition from top rankings and ratings organizations for their exceptional clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction and high performance in specialty services.

“This recognition is a testament to the persistent work and determination of our Firelands Health team,” said Jeremy Normington-Slay, DPT, MBA, FACHE, CEO of Firelands Health. “We value exceptional patient care and are dedicated to the healthcare needs of the communities we serve.”

Firelands Regional Medical Center is one of five Ohio hospitals to be named to Becker’s great community hospitals for 2025. Organizations do not pay and cannot pay for inclusion on this list.
