Firelands Health honors employees at recognition banquet


Fireands Health banquet 2024Firelands Health held its annual employee recognition banquet Thursday, March 20, at Sawmill Creek in Huron to honor employees for benchmark years of service. A total of 268 employees were recognized for their 3,630 years of combined service, celebrating milestones from 5 to 45 years. Special recognition was given to employees for achieving 40 and 45 years of service.

Employees recognized for 40 years of service were:
Connie Dagg, education services; and Michael Vickery, imaging services.

Angela Catalano, home health services; Lori Kuns, imaging services; Linda Lehrer, imaging services; and Jeffrey Mitchell, environmental services.

 “It’s hard to believe we are five years past the COVID pandemic, and I am thrilled to see how many employees have stuck with us and support our mission to provide excellent healthcare, promote community wellness and improve the lives of those we serve,” stated President and CEO Jeremy Normington-Slay.

    Monthly luncheon and educational program for those 55 years of age and older.

  • Breastfeeding Basics

    A class designed to teach new parents the benefits of breastfeeding and how to successfully breastfeed their baby.

  • M.O.M.S. Support Group

    The Bellevue Hospital offers a free breastfeeding support group that provides a supportive environment for new mothers.
