Firelands promotes leaders in behavioral health

Firelands Counseling & Recovery Services announced the promotion of two staff members to key leadership positions:

In addition, Firelands Counseling & Recovery Services announced that Amanda Hass will transition to the role of site director for Erie County, and Karen Russell will assume the role of regional special programs coordinator.

Jessica brings 20 years of service to Firelands Health, with the last 16 years at Firelands Counseling & Recovery Services. Her current role is site director of Sandusky and Seneca counties.

Inspired by a college advisor's suggestion to explore social work, Jessica transitioned from nuclear medicine, finding her true calling. "I truly love what I do, and I love watching our clients realize their potential and heal," said Richards.

Natalie’s passion has always been working with children and teens, which led to her role as a children's case manager at Firelands Counseling & Recovery Services for 25 years. She then served as a vocational coordinator and access specialist. Last year, she took on the role of case management program coordinator and has since been promoted to site supervisor.


Firelands Counseling & Recovery Services provides a full spectrum of outpatient mental health and substance abuse treatment options in Erie, Huron, Ottawa, Sandusky and Seneca counties.
