Firelands Regional Medical Center School of Nursing to Host Open Houses for Aspiring Nurses

Firelands Regional Medical Center School of Nursing invites prospective students to learn about its three-year RN program at two upcoming open houses this January.

The program offers a unique, hospital-based education where clinical experience is integrated directly into the coursework. From the start, students gain real-world experience across various departments at Firelands Regional Medical Center, working alongside multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

The school has been creating nurses for over 100 years. Its long-standing commitment to excellence is reflected in its recent outcomes; the 2025 graduating class achieved a 100% NCLEX-RN passage rate on their first attempt.

You can learn more about the nursing program, financial support and scholarships by attending one of the open houses.

Tuesday, Jan. 13: 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. or Sunday, Jan. 18: 1 - 3 p.m.

Location: Firelands South Campus, 1912 Hayes Ave., 4th floor, Sandusky, Ohio
