Ohio High Value Network launches with 25 rural hospitals across the Buckeye State

Firelands Regional Medical Center, Fisher-Titus Medical Center, and Magruder Hospital are pleased to announce their partnership in launching the Ohio High Value Network (OHVN). These three local hospitals along with 22 other Ohio rural hospitals will work to collaborate on clinical and business initiatives to strengthen healthcare in rural communities across the state of Ohio.

The 25 hospitals and other care sites are in more than 115 cities and towns serving 37 of Ohio’s 88 counties and providing care to more than 2.5 million patients in the state. OHVN will feature collaborations designed to share operational best practices and control costs.

“Working together helps us sustain and grow high-quality care and services in our small communities,” said Nick Marsico, President and CEO of Magruder Hospital. “The OHVN will allow us to continuously improve quality, lower costs, and strengthen rural healthcare for Ohioans.”

“We believe that strong collaboration is the best way to sustain high-quality care in our communities,” said Jeremy Normington-Slay, DPT, MBA, FACHE, CEO of Firelands Health. “The more we work together to remain independent health systems, the more we can strengthen rural healthcare.”

“All of the rural hospitals in this new network each have the same goal to keep healthcare close to home and available in our rural communities,” said Brent Burkey, MD, President and CEO of Fisher-Titus Medical Center. “The bottom line is that together we are stronger, ensuring healthcare stays local for years to come.”

Ohio High Value Network is the third rural hospital network organized and operated by Cibolo Health. The Rough Rider High Value Network in North Dakota launched in 2023, and Headwaters High Value Network in Minnesota started in 2024.
