Outstanding nurse leader awarded to Firelands Health director

Beth Hartz, MSN, RN-BC, OCN, a nurse director at Firelands Regional Medical Center, received the leadership award at the 2025 Ohio Organization for Nursing Leadership (OONL) fall conference.

“This prestigious award reflects Beth’s countless hours that she dedicates to Firelands, our community and her volunteer committee work on behalf of Ohio nurses,” said Jeremy Normington-Slay, DPT, MBA, FACHE, CEO of Firelands Health.“ On many occasions, I have witnessed Beth’s outstanding workplace and community impact. She is also quick to take up a challenge within the walls of FRMC.”

The OONL award was presented to Hartz for her innovative approach to problem-solving, advocacy for patient care and dedication to developing the next generation of nurse leaders.
