Firelands Medical Education Celebrates Graduation

The Sandusky Yacht Club served as the backdrop as eight physicians were recognized during the graduation ceremony for Firelands Regional Medical Center’s medical education program.

Matthew Braniecki, DO, director of the family medicine residency, recognized the following graduates:

  • Rebecca Howard, MD
  • Mark Khalil, MD
  • Frank Kickel, MD
  • Stanton Vincent, DO

Kristopher Lindbloom, DO, director of the transitional year residency, recognized the following graduates:

  • Lindsey Callier, DO
  • Daniel Demehin, MD
  • John Mhanna, DO
  • Holly Ward, DO

Scott Campbell, MD, chief medical officer and Eric Mast, DO, director of medical education, provided welcoming comments to the graduates and those in attendance.

Medical Education at 2026 Graduation Graduates presented awards to area physicians who were instrumental in providing instruction and guidance during their education. Adeyemi Marcus, MD, was recognized as the family medicine residency preceptor of the year. Frederick Doamekpor, MD, was recognized as the transitional year residency preceptor of the year.  

The Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine Outstanding Physician Awards were presented to Melissa DeWilde, DO, (Primary Care Physician), Gregory Cook, MD, (Specialty Care), John Yuhas, DO, (Primary Care Specialty Physician), and Darcy Davis, DO, (Resident Physician).

  • Free Breastfeeding Mom-Baby Group

    This free clinic is open to the public every Thursday to assist breastfeeding mothers with answering questions or concerns and to offer breastfeeding support.

  • Mature Audience Luncheon

    Monthly luncheon and educational program for those 55 years of age and older.
