Firelands Health Newsroom

We're pleased to work with all media.

At Firelands, we strive to provide members of the media with timely information. Setting up interviews is easy. Simply reach out to us and we are here to assist you in any way we can. We will work with your deadline.

Marketing escort requirement

To ensure we are complying with all patient privacy laws, media are permitted on our campuses only with a designated escort from the Firelands marketing team. Requests for interviews with patients or team members, as well as all video and photographs taken on any Firelands property, must be coordinated through the marketing team.

Patient Condition Reports

Members of the media may obtain condition reports for patients during regular business hours (M-F, 8 am – 4:30 pm) from the marketing department. Required information to receive a condition report includes the patient's first and last name. Information will not be given out if the patient has restricted the release of information.

For condition report inquiries after hours or on the weekend, please call 419-557-7400 and ask for the nursing supervisor.
