Brett R. Kuns, D.O.
Dr. Brett Kuns attended the University of Toledo and thereafter Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating in 1986. He did his postgraduate residency/intership at Firelands Community Hospital before opening his family practice clinic, Kuns Family Medicine, in 1988 and has since become a member of Firelands Physician Group. Dr. Brett has been providing occupational medicine services at Corporate Health since 1987. He is board certified in Family Pactice along with having an additional qualification in occupational medicine. Dr. Kuns is a certified Medical Review Officer and also a DOT examiner.
Bryan Kuns, D.O.
Dr. Bryan Kuns has been the Medical Director here at Corporate Health for the past 25+ years. He has been Board Certified in Family Medicine since 1995 with additional certification in occupational medicine since 1998 and has also been a part of Firelands Physician Group for the past 6 years. Prior to being a part of Firelands Physician Group, he was in private practice with his brother/partner for 25 years. Dr. Bryan graduated from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1986 and did postgraduate training at Firelands Community Hospital before establishing the practice in Castalia, Ohio in 1987. He also started here at CHC in 1987 after completing his mini residency at the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Kuns has been certified in occupational medicine for nearly 20 years and has an abundance of experience, as well as being a DOT examiner, MRO certified and proficient in interpreting spirometry.
David J. Grayson, M.D.
Dr. David J. Grayson has been practicing Occupational Medicine here in Sandusky for the past 17 years. He completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Michigan and attended medical school at Wright State University. Dr. Grayson originally completed a 3 year specialty residency program in Family Medicine in Toledo and had a private practice in Oberlin, Ohio for 12 years. He then retrained at the University of Cincinnati Occupational Medicine post-graduate training program from 1999 to 2001. Dr. Grayson maintains board certification by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (FAFFP). He is a certified Medical Review Officer, FMCSA National Registry Certified Medical Examiner, and a Federal Aviation Administration Senior Medical Examiner. His experiences include; medical director of an Ohio BWC MCO, plant medical director in both union and non-union environments, CPS/A by the CAOHC, and Ohio BWC Disability Evaluation Panel physician.
Timothy Sutton, M.D.
Dr. Timothy Sutton attended Rochester Institute of Technology for college, where he received a Bachelors in Biology with Highest Honors. Dr. Sutton then went to Case Western Reserve University for a Master’s in Bioethics. His passion for medicine and ethics led him to an internship at the National Center for Ethics in Health Care at the VA New York Harbor in Manhattan, New York. Afterward, Dr. Sutton studied and earned a Medical Degree from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD. He continued his educational training with a Masters Degree in Public Health at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he simultaneously did my Occupational Medicine Residency. Dr. Sutton joined the Firelands Corporate Health team in February 2019, where he specializes in worker injury assessments, fitness for duty and return to work evaluations, FMLA and disability reviews, independent medical examinations, DOT physicals, medical review officer work and FAA flight examinations.
Jackie Ruttino, FNP-C
Jackie Ruttino, FNP-C, is a Veteran of the U.S. Army, where she served as an Airborne Field Medic and Surgical Assist with a Forward Airborne Surgical Team based in Vicenza, Italy. She has been an employee of Fireland's Regional Medical Center for almost 8 years. Jackie's nursing background includes pediatrics, med-surg, perioperative, and acute nephrology. She completed her Family Nurse Practitioner training through Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri. Her advanced training included rotations with Urgent Care, Family Practice, Pulmonology, Hospice, Pediatrics, and Women's Health.
