Having a baby is an exciting and life-changing event, that can sometimes lead new moms to feel overwhelmed with questions. This free breastfeeding support group provides a friendly, non-judgmental and supportive environment that encourages and supports a new mother’s choice to breastfeed her child. New moms can come with questions and concerns, or just to meet and share experiences with other new mothers and their babies who are also dealing with the challenges of these early months.
The class is facilitated by a certified lactation consultant, and discussions may include breastfeeding topics, life adjustment challenges, sleeping habits and navigating the trials of motherhood.
All mothers and their breastfeeding children are welcome to attend this monthly support group held at the Burson Conference Room at The Bellevue Hospital. No registration is required. For more information, call 419-483-4040, Ext. 4295.
