Cameron Conard, DO
Cameron Conard, DO, is from Columbus, OH and attended Otterbein University. He attended medical school at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. When it comes to his career as a physician, he is most interested in the areas of pediatrics and preventative medicine. If he weren’t a doctor, he says he would probably still be in the medical industry working as a nurse. Outside of work, Dr. Conard most enjoys playing the cello, filmography and underwater chess.
Mark Lanuza, DO
From Las Vegas, NV, Mark Lanuza, DO, attended the University of Nevada at Last Vegas. He chose AT Still University Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine as his medical school, where he grew an interest in the areas of women’s health, OMM, sports medicine and geriatrics. If he wasn’t a doctor, he says he probably would have pursued acting as his career. In his free time, Dr. Lanuza enjoys health and fitness as well as technology.
Annalyse Quintero, MD
Annalyse Quintero, MD, is from Vacaville, CA, and attended the University of California at Santa Cruz. For medical school, she chose to attend Indiana School of Medicine, where she learned she had an interest in anything within the family medicine field. Along with her family, she’s originally from Southern California but moved to Northern California when she was twelve years old. Dr. Quintero is proud to say that she and her sister were the first in her family to go to college, and she is the first to attend medical school. Her father’s side of the family is from Argentina and her mother’s side is from Mexico, with Native American ties, as well. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active. In fact, she says she’s played just about every sport, from softball to soccer and basketball, but her favorite is soccer (to both play and watch). She also loves to cook, especially food from her childhood and other cultures. One of her favorite things to do when she visits her hometown is to cook dinner with her close friends, who are all from different cultures.
Valerie Nemeth, DO
Valerie Nemeth, DO, is from Schaumburg, IL and attended Illinois State University. She chose to attend medical school at Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Indianapolis, IN. Her special interests include dermatology and nutrition medicine, and if she weren’t a doctor, she’d probably be working as a marine biologist (she’s especially fond of Shark Week). With most of her family back in Illinois, Dr. Nemeth enjoys spending time FaceTiming her family and friends. Her parents recently got a puppy and she loves getting picture updates of the trouble he’s causing. She also enjoys cooking – she’s a vegetarian and loves trying new restaurants and experimenting with new foods. She started playing tennis in high school and still loves playing, as well as watching professional tennis tournaments and cheering on her favorite players.
Kevin Carnahan, DO
From Lebanon, Ohio, Kevin Carnahan, DO, attended Wright State University for his undergraduate degree and Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine for his medical degree. He has special interests in rural medicine, maritime medicine, and psychiatry. Dr. Carnahan says if he hadn't pursued medicine, he would be sailing.
His hobbies include sailing, construction, woodworking, and architecture, and he is very close with his parents, sister, and two nephews.
Marie Gerow, MD
Marie Gerow, MD, grew up in Brecksville, Ohio and now lives in Avon. Calling herself "an Ohioan for life", she loves being able to see all four seasons, enjoy limited natural disasters and poisonous animals, and take advantage of the area's great park systems.
She attended Notre Dame of Ohio where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, then moved on to attend medical school at NEOMED. If she hadn't become a physician, she'd be working in a third world country helping women and children overcome poverty and oppression.
Medicine is a second career for Marie. She was also a paint formulation chemist while raising her three children, now ages 15, 16, and 19.
In her spare time, Marie enjoys hiking and exploring nature, gardening, play cards and board games, cooking, dreaming up new recipes, spending time with family, having cookouts, traveling, reading mystery novels by the fire, and having coffee with friends. Her special interests related to her career in medicine include battling chronic illnesses with a whole person approach that includes conventional medicine, diet, nutrition, activity/exercise, personal development, stress reduction, environment and relationships, community involvement, and positive psychology.
Emily Lanzola, DO
From Rocky River, Ohio, Dr. Emily Lanzola attended the College of Wooster where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology. From there, she attended the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens for medical school. Her areas of interest include women's health, adolescent medicine, and hospice and palliative care.
If she were not a physician, Emily says she would have pursued a career as a librarian so she could read and research a variety of books. This goes hand-in-hand with Emily's interests outside of work - she is a huge reader. In fact, she read more than 70 books in 2017 alone. She loves all kinds of books, especially thrillers and young adult fiction. Emily also enjoys learning what others are reading and providing recommendations. Her favorite books are the Harry Potter books by JK Rowling, and she also enjoys cooking, baking, spending time with her husband, family and friends, traveling, and binge-watching shows on Netflix and Hulu.
Emily is proud to be the first member of her family to attend medical school. She married her husband, Bob, in May 2018.
Ramiz Momin, MD
Dr. Momin is originally from Austin, Texas, and attended Texas A&M University at College Station for his undergraduate degree. For medical school, Ramiz attended Ross University School of Medicine. His areas of interest include meditation, philosophy, and the study of religious mysticism (especially sufism).
If Dr. Momin hadn't pursued a medical career, he would be an ascetic meditating somewhere in the Himalayas, where you will find him many years from now after he retires.
In his spare time, Ramiz enjoys cooking, traveling, playing any sports, and reading self-help books. He is married to his "beautiful, awesome, weird wife" of many years.
Timothy Cutler, DO
A Sandusky native, Timothy Cutler, DO, attended the University of Dayton for for his undergraduate degree. For medical school, Dr. Cutler attended OUHCOM- Cleveland. His areas of interest include rural medicine and a broad scope of practice in family medicine.
Dr. Cutler knew from a young age that he wanted to be a physician, but he also considered related fields like becoming a large animal veterinarian.
In his spare time, he enjoys playing games with his family, giving his mind a break with some physical labor on his family's farm and helping his younger cousins prepare for livestock shows.
Daniel Delaney, DO
Dan Delaney, DO, grew up in the small town of Altamont, Illinois and attended Millikin University for his undergraduate degree. For medical school, he attended Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine.
If he wasn't a doctor, Dr. Delaney would either be studying spider biology and working closely with my older brother to be like Steve Irwin, or focusing on playing the piano well instead of recognizably and be a traveling musician.
In his spare time, he enjoys playing badminton, playing video games, reading epic fantasy, writing and playing music.
Aaron Martinez, DO
From Fort Collins, Colorado, Aaron Martinez, DO, attended Metropolitan State University of Denver for his undergraduate degree. For medical school, he attended Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. His special interests include Obstetrics/Women's Health.
If Dr. Martinez hadn't pursued a medical career, he would be a high school chemistry teacher.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, kids, two dogs and two cats. Dr. Martinez is a big fan of watching the Denver Broncos and Colorado Avalanche.
Austen Smith, DO
A Columbus, Ohio native, Austen Smith, DO, attended The Ohio State University for his undergraduate degree. For medical school, Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. His special interests include sports medicine, integrative medicine, OMT, ultrasound, nutrition, exercise and wellness .
If Dr. Smith hadn't pursued a medical career, he would be an actor in Game of Thrones, hopefully lasting more than one season.
In his spare time, he enjoys watching the Columbus Blue Jackets and Buckeye football, and exploring new restaurants.
Terry Bujnak, DO
Justin Leasure, MD
From Amanda, Ohio, Justin Leasure, MD earned his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University. Afterwards, he attended Toledo University College of Medicine, in Toledo, Ohio. His special interests include sports medicine, chronic pain, musculoskeketal and spine. If he wasn't a doctor, Dr. Leasure would be an astronaut.
In his spare time, he enjoys backpacking, rock climbing and sports.
Taylor Mallicoat, DO
Taylor Mallicaot, DO, is originally from Sneedville, Tennessee. She attended the Lincoln Memorial University for her undergraduate degree, and Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine - Auburn Campus for her medical degree.
If Dr. Mallicoat was not a physician, she would want to pursue a career as a full-time clothing reseller.
Dr. Mallicoat spends the majority of her free time "flipping" old clothing items that she finds at thrift stores, yard sales, flea markets, etc. She purchases these items, cleans them, alters them, and makes them look as good as new, and then sell them online.
Samir Sharrak, DO
From San Diego, California, Samir Sharrak, DO attended the University of California- San Diego for his undergraduate and Des Moines University for his medical degree. If he didn't pursue a medical career, he would be a pilot.
In his spare time, Dr. Samir enjoys playing soccer, hiking and traveling.
