Who We Are
For nearly 50 years, Firelands Regional Medical Center has provided outstanding medical education in Northwest Ohio. Our university-affiliated, community-based medical training brings together osteopathic and allopathic physician educators who collaborate to provide our residents with superb clinical and educational experiences.
Our medical education department is well-known for its collegial atmosphere. We strive to maintain a healthy balance between a robust training experience and a balanced lifestyle. Residents enjoy a strong sense of camaraderie through a wide range of wellness and team‑building activities. These include boat outings on Lake Erie, ax throwing, kayaking, shuffleboard, Sandusky Pedal Bike rides, pickleball, trivia nights, and our annual bowling event.
