We are now accepting Fall 2022 applications for the Regular RN Program and LPN to RN program.

Application Process

  1. Submit application.
  2. Pay the application fee.
  3. Submit the following documents:
    1. High school transcript that demonstrates proof of graduation. Seniors in high school are still encouraged to apply and submit a high school transcript even though proof of graduation is not available yet.
    2. If high school graduation was completed through GED, provide proof of both high school transcripts and the GED results.
    3. All college transcripts if previous college course work was attempted/completed.
    4. Regular applicants must submit three (3) references utilizing the Evaluation of Applicants Performance and Potential form.
    5. LPN to RN applicants must submit one (1) reference utilizing the Evaluation of Licensed Practical Nurse by Employer form. If not currently employed as an LPN, three (3) references utilizing the Evaluation of Applicants Performance and Potential form will be submitted instead.

  1. Once the required applicant records are on file, the applicant will be contacted to schedule the TEAS test and a personal interview.
  2. Once all admission requirements have been met, the Admissions Committee makes the final determination of acceptance or rejection and the applicant will be notified by an official letter.

The application fee is $25. There are three options for payment:

  2. Call Fireland’s cashier at 419-557-5425 to pay with a debit or credit card. Make sure you inform the cashier that the payment is for the School of Nursing.
  3. Cash, check, or money order may be dropped off or mailed to the school.
