After graduating from medical school, Dr. Chaban came to the U.S. in 1988 to train in internal medicine. During his intern year, he was drawn to the fast-paced field of critical care medicine. During that time, Dr. Chaban found his passion in caring for the most severely ill patients. He also practiced the art of quick assessment and rapid response to patients with sudden, life-threatening changes.

Since 1997, Huron has been home to Dr. Chaban and his family. His three children went to Huron public schools. Dr. Chaban has always deeply valued being a part of this community.
