Dr Prosser is a board-certified family physician. She provides primary care services (i.e., preventative care, chronic care management, healthcare screenings, and sick visits) to patients of all ages, including newborns, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Dr Prosser is particularly interested in women’s health, including birth control, maternal/postpartum care, breastfeeding medicine, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, breast and cervical cancer screening, osteoporosis, and menopause.
Dr Prosser is an international board-certified lactation consultant (IBCLC). She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering from The University of Toledo with a minor in entrepreneurship. She attended Ohio State University (GO BUCKS!) for medical school, where she decided to pursue Family Medicine. She also had her first child while in her last year of medical school; he was truly born a Buckeye. Dr Prosser completed her residency training at Firelands Regional Medical Center in Family Medicine, during which she served as chief resident.
Dr Prosser's primary office is at NOMS Huron Family Practice. She will also be filling in as a preceptor for the Family Medicine Residency Program and caring for newborns at the Center for Women and Newborns. She currently resides in Vermilion, OH, with her two children, husband, and cat. She is an Ohio native and enjoys exploring the many MetroParks throughout the state and boating on Lake Erie.
