My motivation in becoming an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) was and continues to be to serve my community. I started my career in medicine as a combat medic in the Army, serving my fellow Soldiers. I find enjoyment in working with others to establish a healthy lifestyle. As I progressed through my education, I became more passionate about Sports Medicine. I completed my Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Cincinnati with a focus on Family Medicine. My goal is to establish my profession in the great city of Sandusky and to provide quality medical care. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my family and doing outdoor activities. Running, camping, kayaking, hunting, and horse riding are a few of my hobbies. I enjoy having an active lifestyle to create a healthy work-life balance. I currently serve in the Ohio Army National Guard, and this October will mark my 20th year serving this great country.
Riley Binks, FNP, attended Ohio University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and completed his Master’s of Science in Nursing at the University of Cincinnati. Prior to joining FPG, Riley was working as a registered nurse for ten years, primarily in Intensive Care Units. He has served in the Ohio National Guard since 2002 and is currently a Major serving in the United States Army Nurse Corps. He is excited to start his career as a Nurse Practitioner with Firelands Physician Group.
