Carolyn Stierhoff, MD

Dr. Stierhoff was initially drawn to medicine after her mother's breast cancer diagnosis. She witnessed firsthand the positive impact of the care team on her mom and family throughout her treatments.

Growing up in Huron, Dr. Stierhoff always knew she wanted to return to live and work in the community, as her family still resides there. She chose to specialize in internal medicine and pediatrics, allowing her to care for families throughout their lives. This dual focus provides a strong foundation for managing both routine and complex medical issues in infants and children, supports transitions like adolescence, and enables her to care for adults with multiple medical conditions.

In her free time, Dr. Stierhoff enjoys gardening and looks forward to setting up a kitchen garden to see what she and her husband, Will, can cook up with their harvest.
