Jill Wasylik-Waldock, APRN

I live in Sandusky and have a long affiliation with Fireland's hospital. My father was on the board of Memorial Hospital, and my father-in-law was on the board of Good Samaritan Hospital, where they both served for over 40 years and brought together those two institutions along with Providence Hospital to form the current hospital system. My husband, Jack, served on the Firelands board for many years before his death in 2021.

I have worked at Firelands in the emergency room for over 16 years as a registered nurse and love it. I chose a career in nursing after our eldest child was born with severe health issues, and the nurses at Rainbow Babies and Children were our lifeline. Jack and I raised our four (now adult) children in Sandusky, and we are blessed with four grandchildren. Once my children were grown, I decided to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. In my spare time, I enjoy scuba diving, travel, gardening, crossword puzzles, and time with my children and grandchildren.
