Firelands to Host Free Safety Day for Sandusky Children Entering Kindergarten

(June 22, 2018 ­­– Sandusky, Ohio)  Due to its overwhelming success in 2017, Firelands Regional Medical Center is happy to announce that it will again be hosting a free Safety Day event for children in the Sandusky area.

In coordination with Sandusky City Schools, as well as several city organizations and businesses, the Safety Day event will be held on Saturday, July 21 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Dorn Park, 708 Bardshar Road, Sandusky. The program was created for Sandusky area children who will be entering kindergarten, and who are ages 4 to 6. Children in attendance will be able to learn the valuable lessons of what to do during a fire, stranger danger, road safety, animal safety, water safety, home safety, and other emergency situations. At the end of the program, each child will receive a t-shirt, bicycle helmet, and a certificate to commemorate their completion of Safety Day.

You can register for Safety Day online by downloading the registration forms. Paper forms can be picked up at the front desk of Firelands Regional Medical Center, located in the main entrance, 1111 Hayes Avenue, Sandusky.
