Visiting hours

General visiting hours

  • 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Family Birthing Center

  • Visitor hours: 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. and 4 - 8 p.m.
  • Quiet hours: 2 - 4 p.m.

Visiting policy

  • Visitors with acute/infectious illnesses should not visit patients.
  • Staff may limit the number of visitors according to the patient's needs.

  • Visitors are kindly asked to refrain from loud talking or making excessive noise, as this may disturb other patients.

  • Visitors are asked to remain in the waiting area when not in the patient's room.

  • Patients and visitors are responsible for respecting the property of other patients, visitors, employees, and the hospital.

  • Anyone entering the hospital after 8 p.m. must use the emergency room entrance.

  • Accommodations may be made for overnight visitors of critically ill patients or children upon request. Overnight visitors are typically limited to one per night. Please notify the nurse if you plan to spend the night. You must wear appropriate attire, remain in the patient's room, and are not permitted to sleep in the patient's bed.

  • The patient has the right to designate whom they wish to see during their hospital stay. The patient may select a support person who may or may not be the patient's surrogate decision-maker or legally authorized representative. This person will be allowed visitation privileges no more restrictive than those for immediate family members.

  • The Bellevue Hospital will not restrict or deny visitation privileges on the basis of race, color, ethnicity, culture, language, religion, sex, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or physical or mental ability.

Food and dining

Conveniently located on the first floor of The Bellevue Hospital, the Main Station Café offers a wide variety of hot and cold food options for patients and visitors. If you are visiting a patient, room service meals are also available to you for a fee. Please ask the nursing services for additional information.

Monday - Friday
Breakfast: 7 - 10 a.m.
Lunch: 11:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Dinner: 5 - 6:30 p.m.

The café is closed on weekends and holidays.

Walking trail

Thanks to generous donations, guests may enjoy the Wellness and Walking Trail. We do ask that no rollerblades, skateboards, bicycles, or pets be brought onto the trail. Click here for a map
