Crisis Program

Mental Health Hotline and Crisis Support

Firelands Counseling & Recovery Services provides a full spectrum of mental health and substance abuse treatment to several counties in North Central Ohio, including Erie, Huron, Ottawa, Seneca and Sandusky. Our Behavioral Health program is one of the largest hospital-based programs in Ohio.

Inpatient care

There are times when an individual requires care in a supportive and protective setting. These patients are often referred to our 34-bed inpatient psychiatric unit located at the main campus of Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky. Inpatient psychiatric admissions are available for those suffering from severe depression and contemplating suicide and/or persons experiencing such significant emotional distress that 24-hour care is needed.
