National Cancer Survivors Day

Cancer Survivorship Day is celebrated early in June to celebrate survivors and those on the path to survivorship. Help us celebrate and support our cancer survivors or anyone touched by cancer by participating in our celebration and luminaria dedication.

  • Dedicate a luminary in remembrance of a loved one or friend.
  • Listen to uplifting live music and a testimonial from a cancer survivor.
  • Light refreshments will be provided.

2026 Date TBA

If you are unable to attend, you can still donate a luminary

RSVP and Luminaria Dedication

Help us support, remember, and encourage our cancer survivors or anyone touched by cancer through the dedication of a luminaria, which serves as a beacon of hope throughout the darkest times.

Anyone can make a donation toward a candle and place it in a paper lantern on which a name, a wish or a message can be written. Each luminaria represents hope, consolation and memory for cancer patients. The luminarias are placed on display at Firelands Regional Medical Center.

Luminarias will also be available to decorate and display at the event.
