Pediatric Services
As a parent, you only want the best for your child. Not just with learning and development, friendships, opportunities and happiness, but with health, too. Our mission at Firelands Regional Medical Center is to provide the most comprehensive quality healthcare to children from infancy through adolescence.
Our approach to caring for infants, children and adolescents begins with understanding their physical, emotional, social and developmental needs. Recognizing that the family is central to a child's life and care plan, our healthcare team advocates a parent-professional partnership in planning and providing care.
Our Care Team
Our pediatric staff is specially trained and experienced in the care of children and maintains that knowledge and competency in current practices through ongoing continuing education. Additionally, our pediatric nurses are certified in pediatric advanced life support.

Firelands Physician Group's pediatric practice provides pediatric care and treatment for children from infancy to young adulthood. The practice has achieved Level 3 Patient-Centered Medical Home status with the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). This means it provides a healthcare setting designed to improve care coordination between patients, their primary care physicians and, when appropriate, the patient's families.

Pediatric inpatients
We are a group of outstanding pediatricians caring for children in the hospital setting. As a collaborative team, we provide on-demand consultations and are available 24/7 at Firelands Regional Medical Center should your child require emergent attention. Our clinicians work together and share in the philosophy that your child's well-being depends equally on the science – and art – of medicine. You can expect your child to receive world-class service from our experienced pediatricians. We are "Humor in Medicine" trained and incorporate humor and smiles in our care.
