Postpartum Support

Postpartum Support

The first few weeks home with a newborn can be a challenging time for everyone. Firelands Health is here for you. Along with our breastfeeding support groups, and appointments, we are also proud to partner with Family Connects Ohio.

For families living in Erie County, Family Connects offers free at-home nurse visits from nurses at Firelands Regional Medical Center.

Across Ohio, many new parents are choosing to have a free in-home nurse visit after birth. This is a standard part of newborn care that helps families feel supported, confident and connected. Our friendly, registered nurses come to your home, meet your baby and help answer your questions – all in the comfort of your own space.
