While as a guest of Firelands Regional Medical Center, we hope you have a pleasant experience. Below is information that can assist you while you are at our main campus facility.
Firelands offers a variety of delicious food options in our cafeteria as well as several coffee and non-coffee beverages in our Java City coffee shop.

Guest & Quiet Hours
For the comfort of our patients, we ask that all guests please abide by the Guest and Quiet Hours listed below.
General Visiting Hours
Visiting hours are from 10 p.m. to 8 p.m. Find a detailed list of visitation guidelines below.
Critical Care/Coronary Care
Guest times are flexible to meet the needs of the patient and family and allow us to work together to individualize the times.
To better serve our patients, we ask guests and family members to:
- Check at the nurse station first
- No more than two visitors are permitted at one time
- Keep visits brief (10 to 15 minutes)
- Do not wake a sleeping patient
- Guests must be at least 14 years old
Special consideration may be given to younger children. Please contact the charge nurse to arrange.
Inpatient Rehabilitation (5th Floor)
Guest hours are only during non-therapy time, unless otherwise arranged.
8:30 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Quiet Hospital Helps With Healing - research proves rest contributes to faster recovery and healing. Please help us create a quiet, healing environment for our patients.
During this time we ask families and guests to please:
- Speak quietly
- Put phones to silent or vibrate
- Know lights will be dimmed on units and in patient rooms
- Supervise children at all times
- Ask staff what might help patients rest
Moms are welcome to nurse their babies anywhere in our facility. Lactation consultants and nurses in the Center for Women and Newborns are available, if needed. Call 419-557-7500 for questions or assistance.
Patients may receive calls from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on the hospital-provided room phone but may place outgoing calls at any time.
