Visiting Hours & Policies

For the safety of our patients and guests, we have designated visitation hours throughout our departments.

General visitation

General visiting hours are from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. department specific hours vary. See below or talk to your nurse/physician.

• Pediatrics visitation is from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., with open visitation for parents, designated persons, grandparents, and siblings
• Obstetrics:
  • • Labor & Delivery: Only two designated persons throughout the labor stay.
    • Postpartum: 10 a.m. to noon and 5 to 8:30 p.m. Visitors under 18 years old must be siblings only.
• Inpatient psychiatric unit visitation is from 2 to 3 p.m. and from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Special Care visitation is limited to persons 18 years and older; on the One South Main Unit, children 13 years up to 18 years of age may visit accompanied by an adult.
• Inpatient physical rehabilitation visitation is from noon to 8:30 p.m. Arrangements for family instructions conferences and patient support outside of scheduled hours may be made through the Rehabilitation Social Worker.

• Critical Care Unit. General visitation is typically 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Times are individualized to meet the needs of the patient and family. Immediate family or designated significant others may visit. Visiting intervals may be brief at times to facilitate the environment and focus for care delivery. Check with Nursing personnel before entering the room.

• Outpatient Support. Visitors or support persons may accompany patients to the Emergency Room, Outpatient Services, Off-Campus locations, and Outpatient Surgery. Clinical Teams in those areas will provide guidance relative to visitation parameters.
